KeepTruckin rebrands as Motive

The prolific Fleet Management Software Company has recently implemented a complete revamp of its exclusively-targeted brand name. Known now as “Motive”, the Company’s aim for this rebrand is to better reflect the ever-growing demand of its Fleet Management Software across the different Markets in the Physical Economy beyond just the Trucking Industry.

The Original Mission

Initially, the Company began with a simple goal: To bring the Truck Industry Online. To achieve this, they availed the use of Mobile Phone Apps and Electronic Logging Devices in order to create an unalterable digital log for Truck Drivers and their Driving Hours. Later on, the Company introduced its AI-based Fleet Management Software, opening the door for them to access a plethora of different capabilities, such as Real-time Fleet Tracking, Fuel Tax Reporting, Best Route Optimization for Truck Drivers and AI-powered Dashcam with built-in Safety Features that can help Truck Drivers identify and take necessary precautionary measures in hazardous situations. All these aspects combined propelled the Company into achieving a recognizable Brand Image among its Customers throughout the Trucking Industry.

Identifying a Greater Problem

Today, Motive acknowledges the fact that although its Primary Target Audience for its Fleet Management Software were mainly Trucking Firms, the actual usage of its Software tells a wholly different story. In reality, Motive’s Fleet Management Software was utilized by Industries hailing from all areas of the Physical Economy, these included Construction Firms, Agriculture Firms, Oil and Gas Firms, Food and Beverage Firms among many others. The Higher-ups at Motive quickly ascertained that this increased demand for their Software clarifies that, if anything, there is a great desire by not only the Trucking Industry, but of all these aforementioned Industries to Automate their Operations and use the different aspects of Digitization Technology in order to meet the ever-growing demand for their Products in their respective Markets.

“The absence of an Integrated Platform to manage Physical Operations has constrained the Safety, Productivity and Profitability of almost 50% of our economy.”, wrote Shoaib Makani the Chief Executive Officer of Motive in regards to the rebranding of the Company.

The Automated Operations Platform

In light of this great demand of the Fleet Management Software, in order to combat the above-mentioned problem, Motive has further repurposed its Technological Capacities by directing its focus towards being an “Internet of Things”-based Automation Company. IoT represents one of two principle aspects of Motive’s new Automated Operations Platform. With IoT hardware, Motive aims to Interconnect all of its Physical Assets such as Machinery and Appliances through the use of embedded sensors, actuators and various other technologies to the Cloud. This is done in order to exchange Data amongst each other in Real Time without Human Intervention, thus steering all the Industries towards a total Digital Transformation.

The second aspect of Motive’s Automated Operations Platform is their AI-powered Applications that are built upon the Fleet Management Software in order to improve Motive’s Tracking and Monitoring Capabilities by allowing the Company to utilize On-board Diagnostics and GPS Technology to track Asset Management, Driver Safety, Driver Compliance and Asset Maintenance over a Digital Landscape.

With these Implementations, Motive aspires to serve every Industry present in the Physical Economy by helping them grow without experiencing stagnation in any of the elements related to the efficiency and productivity of the Industries’ operations.
